When updating the Elgato Stream Deck from within the Application or trying to install from the Elgato Website on Windows 11 – I started getting the error message “Not a Valid Win 32 Application“. The Stream Deck is an essential bit of kit for my setup so I had to work out how to get it working again.
To fix this I did the following:
1) Delete all files in c:\users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Temp
2) Restart the PC
3) Try again
Simple I know but it worked for me. Hopefully it works for you too.
